Ledbetter Volunteer Fire Department [LVFD]
LVFD has proudly served surrounding counties for over 50 years, and
hope to continue to do so. LVFD has started
construction of a new fire station and meeting hall next to the

Stuermer
General Store
The Stuermer Store is a working museum located in the original 1870 General Store and features antique store furniture and merchandise; crafts supplied by local artisans such as bonnets, crocheted items, painted wood
designs; the saloon is restored and operates as an ice cream and sandwich shop.

Winedale
Historical Center
The Winedale Historical Center (979) 278-3530 features a restored stagecoach inn, a performance barn where
Shakespeare at Winedale performs in the late summer and a number of other historic buildings. Owned by the University of Texas at Austin, Winedale hosts a variety of events year round including major arts and crafts exhibitions in Spring and Fall.
